yes paper was a cakewalk so cut off will be very high aproximately 70%
Paper was gud..cutoff wud be sumthing b/w 65-70%..descriptive will decide d selection.

i have given exam from patna centre and i got differnt paper from what stated above.
Its a mirage it looks like a cakewalk but it is not like that mind it…….
can anyone tell me why different region had differnt question set however it is a national exam
LIC is already bearing the expences of reconducting exam and wont want the last time like situation again.therefore it may b the reason why different questions r set even if questions r leaked some where LIC will not have 2 cancell the exam in the whole country……that i think…

at my center examiner told that there is very low attendence near about 300 or 250 in 750 total
my center was varanasi ……plz share all of ur experience of attendence at ur center too as it will also play a role in estamating cuttoff
M frm chandigarh center dr was also atendance very low.nly 12 out f 35 n my rum me dr was same n ny rum

compared to last time this time i saw a steady decrease in aspirants….

@delhi the numbering of question is not right in the maths section.so what happen to those question which are wrong due to this?
yes there is a mistake in numbering of question in maths. Hope LIC will give grace. Rest They know.

Yes Dear. I also got set B. it was full of misprints. 82nd question is printed twice and 87 question no is missinh. Hope LIC will give grace..hope so.

gk was gud bt maths was horrible for me actly attempted only 17, 18 que baki tukka only. rest therz mistake in reasoning portion also symbol ? is equivalent to n which was nt printed in table. baki hope for the best. wt abt u?????
okzz….mine exam was good.My gk and math were good .Reasoning was also good but i have doubt in one question abt preferences. I had done it in a hurry so don’t know sure. Yes there were mistakes in Reasoning section- ? is equal to n which is not printed.There was also mistake in descriptive as in second essay there is written polity instead of policies.

my descriptive was also good

result will be published exactly after 90 days.. this is a trend in LIC
there are about 250 seats out of which 130 would be for general… so they will call around 400 students for interview…
cut off would be high as there was no negative marking and paper was easy.. english and GK would be decider.
let us suppose that the candidate at number 1 position will score 130 in all probablity..there would be around 25 students on each number thereafter.. i think cut off would be around 115-120 for general category…
actually i beleive paper was substandard level.. no negatiive marking and level even below of clerical cadre.. this wasnt expected from LIC.. in this type of exam every number becomes crucial and lot of depened upon luck.. its difficult to diffferentiate between horses and mules…
lets see what happnes. even thouugh i am scoring around 110-115.. i m keepping my fingers crossed..

One of my friend was do 1 sily mistake that is he was darken the ovals in blue so what happen with him….
dere was mistake in Set B of LIC aao paper in which 87 question number was not printed in as much as 83 question number had come twice in the paper.the problem was attempting the question number 83..anyone got same mistake in question paper
yes mine set was also B and same mistake was there. But the staff in my centre told us that do 82 question which was first. and leave the 87 answer blank. So all of us did that. Letz see what LIC will do :annoyed_tb:

Bhaiya Abhijit itna bhi asan nahi hote competitive exams ki 100 out of 100 percentile aa jaye.
Ha jaye upto 80 in this exam is possible.

At my centre attendence was low.my centre was k.v.no.3 schhol.jaipur.in my class there was only 8 students out of 24.

Around 75-80 rahegi.
Because paper was not that hard.
Also on that day there were different exams on that day,so attendence was really low,almost at all the places.

how do ull prepare for the reasoning test ?I find it very difficult :cry_wp:
Yaar dont try to attempt all the questions. U need to attempt only 70-75 percent. So go through the formet of reasoning & choose the topics which are scoring and time consuming. But keep in mind that ur accuracy should b more than 95%. Now when you will try to give your best in those topics u must get 60% marks in reasoning. & this is enough. In my opinion the best topics are sylloigms, simboprations, arguments, assumptions, course of action, round table questions etc. If u attempt these questions accurately u may score 15-20 marks easily in 15 minutes. For remaining 15 marks you should chose other topics in which u r best. One more thing try to ignore figuer questions bcs they are very much time consuming. (yaar 1 place pe uper bhi maine time consuming word use kia hai vha less time consuming aye ga bcs is site main correction ki option nai hai). i think my opinion will help u a lot. Anyways work hard. Some where I read that the cut off was 74 for general in previous year exam so keeping this thing in mind that paper was easy and so we can raise cut off by 15 marks i.e 89 and since the number of seats are less so it can go up to more 5 marks that is 94.Since it’s getting too late so worthless to speculate but what to say about cut off friends??
