actually i use IDM which grabs a website and the downloadable material automatically without the need to undergo the verification/authentication process …so I didn’t require the username/pwd concerned.

there are 3465 candidate in obc who got 158 marks or more and 50% in graduation
it means there will be lower cut off in BOI as they are ask 60% in grd …….as i think there are less candidates above 60% ……now analize the condition n declare cut off for gen in Canara n BOI

Dear,I am not able to score well thats not the concern hear.And I am hardly bothered whether I am good or bad.
The point is that they are having a good view of how many have qualified and their scores are already available to them through IBPS. But we as candidates don’t know the exact number. So how logical is to allow all to fill the forms. Don’t you think it is pure cheating with around 80,000 to 90,000 filling the forms and 10,000 called(11 to 12%). I am lenient in calculation.
My score is 150 and I think that score is worthy enough to be lured by the call of banks and at least take a chance. There is no means to know in advance whether your is good or bad.

You have crossed the cutoff limit in Union bank and got an interview date so I think it’d be better if you prepare for it with all your heart and soul and stop worrying about the other banks . They will declare their vacancies eventually…

BANKS MUST BE HAVING THE LIST OF SELECTED STUDENTS IN IBPS WITH THEIR MARKS , THEY CAN EASILY FIND OUT THE TOTAL NUMBER OF STUDENTS WHO FALL UNDER THE REQUIRED CUTOFF FOR THEIR BANKS,, THEN WHY THE HELL THEY ARE NOT ASKING THAT PARTICULAR CUT OFF BEFORE WE GUYS APPLY FOR THESE BANKS….ITS ALL BUSINESS.

If you see from my point of view then you will feel that Union bank of India has done wrong.Since all other bank have clearly mentioned the cut off for different categories but Union Bank invited application without mentioning that..I hope they realize what they did was wrong if compared to other banks .
they did another foolish act and a blot on management by revealing the roll no and dob details…now anyone can login in others account and do whatever one feels like…

I feel none of us should get demorlised to see the cut-off of UBI. In next 2-3 months when these three banks- UBI, BOI and corp bank fill their vaccancy, only low score candidate would remain in the market.This year till May, at least 40000 vaccancy is expected by different banks. Hopefully, all of us get in by that time in one or other bank.
I wish all the best for all of you and request ur patience to see ultimate destination.

Yeah the work of PO is really very hectic in nature and I completely agree with what Arjun said in his comment. Loads of work and in return they would pay u a meager salary of just around 23,000. Be prepared to work 10-12 hours and if that is not sufficient, the bank might call u even on Sunday for few hours. Paid leaves are minuscule and if you have to take leave, you got to say to your Manager at least 1 month ago.
So once you get to become a Bank PO, get ready to get yourself Screwed. Sorry for the language but I cannot help it.

Look guys even if the cut off was not 166, then also it was complete waste filling up the form. It is so because there are hundreds of thousands of students who have scored more than 180+ in IBPS PO and they will get selected in comparison to 160 or below score holders.
Getting 130 and 140 will not help to get a Bank PO job. If you have scored around 70-80 percent in the exam, then the selection is confirmed because overall score really matters.
For example If a guy get 180 score in written exam and even if he gets the lowest marks in the interview say 40, his total score will be 230.
In our case if our score is around 150 and the maximum we can get is 70- 80 in interview, then also we will not be at par with the guy who has scored more than 180.
So, don’t get crestfallen and try to score around what I mentioned above and then selection is confirmed no matter we are unable to fare well in the interviews
@Joy Sarcar as far as i think dear u should not lose hope… if bank further reduced marks to 70% then definitely a guy who scored 160 nd got only more 10 numbers than who scored 180….. he can beat 180 scorer in the race…….. so prepare well for intrw…….. all the best

Mr.Archit interview is still to come man, its better for you to leave commenting on it and go for your preparations bcoz very less vacancies will come in near future as 10 out of 19 banks recruited PO’s very before this so called IBPS CWE. hi i think u just go with all the other documents especially the chalan in original. the all other things are same as ibps application form. so i think it will not make that much problem..

hi iam a state bank of india 2010 batch cashier…i got 152 obc in ibps po …this is my assumption…ubi total 10600….above 158 there r 3500 in obc …upto date (31/1/2012)2552 obc vacant seats available (upto pnb(7th bank for notification) 755 seats)…if 8th 9th 10th 11th banks cal approx 1000 seats(average)(sice banks may call above 1000 seats also and below 1000 seats also) then 1080 obc seats get filled in 27%obc reserve basis…soupto 158 obc marks 11 banks completed…from 158 to 152(my mark) approx 500 persons might be in obc…12th 13th bank will take these 500 obc seats …as a result i can just attend interview from 14th bank to 19th bank …finally can get selected in 17th or 18th or 19th banks…neck to neck position…i advice candidates to compare their situation by this calculation…all the best …better to study for next ibps cwe po instead of seeing this time chance(its like a dog eagerly awaiting to see the sunrise)…

Hi Friends…My interview was scheduled at 12 pm but it started at 4.30 sharp and it lasted for 20 minutes, Since I am an MCA Graduate they asked most of the questions from my field..about my job..and from banking they asked me what are the functions of a bank, then what all a P.O have to do…Relate yourself with the features that a P.O must have…about shares and debentures, they asked me will you be able to work in rural area? The panel members were really supportive and they asked only general questions to all the candidates…not much tougher banking terms…All the best Friends..
