Syndicate Bank PO Exam 2010 Guidelines

This post is exclusive for all of those, who will be giving SYNDICATE BANK PO EXAM on 29-08-2010.
We will discuss here the pattern of the exam, type of questions to be asked and approach to solve the paper.
First of all a good news that there is no descriptive paper this time in this bank po exam. So we just have to plan for Objective paper.
1) In Objective we will be having 5 sections, as follows (not necessarily in same order):
a) Reasoning
b) Quantitative Aptitude
c) General Awareness
d) English
e) Computer Proficiency

QUESTIONS TO ATTEMPT :
| Section | Questions to attempt | Time to Attempt |
| Reasoning | 40-45 | 40 |
| Quantitative Aptitude | 35-40 | 40 |
| General Awareness | 35-40 | 25 |
| English | 25 | 20 |
| Computer | 30-35 | 25 |
This in not an ideal way to solve paper, but one of the good way to solve, so try it out and you will see some difference in previous attempts and this attempt
(Although in English, sectional cut off is 40% in most of the papers but some have 50% too, so you should attempt 25 questions to clear this section, in order to avoid confusion that cut off is 40% or 50%)
Important points to be noted : :
> There is negative marking for every question in objective questions
> There is individual cut off for every section, so do not stick to one section for a long time
> After clearing the cut off go to your stronger section to grab more marks and get yourself up in merit
> Merit for Bank PO exams is always high so try to attempt as much as possible in the given time.
> Do not stick to long passages in english language sections
>Just clear the cut-off in english section because its marks will not be counted at the time of merit

Thank you, This information is useful for not only myself but also all the candidates who are going to appear exam on 29th august.I have a doubt that, in English passage is the part from which we can grab the marks but its taking so much of time. what i have to do?

let me tell you 1 thing that this time if you even don`t touch the passage then also you can cover english, as you have to just clear the cut-off so there is o way a problem that you leave the passage, so go for other types of questions rather that passage to save time in syndicate bank po paper

But sir give me right way to clear interview
i have just clear written exam of PNB manegment tranee and i have given others bank PO exam too. but i am little bit afraid about my interview,mainly for my distance graduation(BscIT.66%). so,tel me right way to crack interview.i know distance graduation is aplicable for central goverment and state gov job.as per notice of IGNOU or DEC(distance education concile) of india and oder of suprimcot of india
